What do you enjoy doing out of work?

Socializing, Spending time with my family, cooking, shopping, doing my own hair and makeup for nights out (best part of the night!), Dancing!

Abington Grove

Senior Stylish / Assisstant Manageress

What type of hairdressing do you specialise in?

All of it!

How long have you been working in the hairdressing industry?

About 6 years

Cool… So what do you think hairdressing is all about?

Being creative, Challenging yourself, showing the client you’ve really listened to what they want.

A good hair cut makes a client feel…

Refreshed, Confident, Comfortable and secure with you as an individual stylist.

What personality trait do you think every hairdresser needs to have?

An open minded, helpful and confident personality and attitude!

What type of skills do you bring to The Cutting Rooms?

I like to think my hairdressing skills come naturally to those who have them but i think communication with both staff and clients is so important!

Where do you get your inspiration from and who is your hairdressing idol?

Up and coming fashion, Magazines, all the well groomed celebs! Film and TV.   I also get LOADS of my inspiration from lee stafford because i think he’s SO fit!

Who has the coolest hair in the world?

Katy Perry (Black NOT bleached!)

Who has the worst hair in the world?

Jodie Marsh

What do you like the most about hairdressing?

Being able to work in an environment that I feel comfortable in to be myself. The clients and all the constant motivation and inspiration!

Which celebrities do you take inspiration from?

He’s not a celeb (yet) but my brother has come so far in the music industry and he makes me so proud but  if i had to pick….. Pam Anderson cause she has balls!

What type of cut do you enjoy doing the most?

A good old textured bob, you can’t go wrong and the client loves it which I enjoy!

Describe a typical day at The Cutting Rooms

A happy, friendly environment with us all working well as a team to look after our clients as best we can!


How do your fellow ‘Cutting Rooms’ team members influence you?

They keep me focused and grounded, help me make decisions. I’d be lost without them!

    Had hair done on Tuesday and it was the first time Anjel had cut my hair so I was a bit nervous but no need GREAT haircut and really listened to what I wanted. Thanks Anjel
