    Hey Girls, :)
i recently went red as i have been blonde all my life and wanted a change, i loved it at first but i now i see girls with blonde hair and want mine back but i have spoken to some hair dressers and they said it will be near enough impossible as it will take so long to do it, also damage my hair badly. i was also wanting it cut like frankie from the saturdays or rhianna’s.
i have had previous bad experinces with stylist’s cutting my hair so i am alway’s worried.
Any advice on what could be done?

    Hello Mizzy,
My advice would be to get the condition back in your hair first before putting bleach in your hair. I was recommened our Extreme products to use at home and maybe come in for a few treatments.

If you really don’t like the red, we could but all over semi over it for you to knock out the red and you would be more like a warm brown.

My name is Sam and i work at the Abington salon, feel free to ring up and book in for a consultion with me so we can have a proper look and chat!

    Thank you

    Hey Sam,

I came into you the Cutting Rooms Salon at Weston Favell today, as i handed in my cv, i have just qualified in Hair Dressing L2 and looking for a Job. Anyway sorry about that, i really would like to go back to blonde as i really miss it and i want to go quite short like Frankie’s hair off the saturday’s but with a flash of pink in the fringe, i have had a quote on colour correction and i was told it will be £30 each time and i will need at least 5 goes, which is going to cost alot. when & how much would it cost to come in with you for colour correction?

    Thankyou, Mizzy X

    Mizzy,
I can’t say with out seeing your hair i’m afraid, so you can either upload a picture to our facebook page or pop in to the abington salon!

Either way it won’t be a problem

    Charlene,
If you come in for a skin test today and everything is fine you can come in on Saturday. We can do a full head of foils, depending on how dark your hair is now, to lighten it up gradually.

Give us a ring and you can book in!

    Thank you

    Hiya!
i have long dark hair and i really want lots of honey, caramel and platnumish blonde highlighs (the majority of them caramel) through my hair. i have good quality hair how much roughly would that cost me?

    Rhiannon,

Depending on dark your hair is, you will need a full head of highlights, a toner and a cut and blowdry. This will start from £88 and goes up depending on which stylist you have. Its also goes down by 15% if you come in on a monday, tuesday and a wednesday!

    Hope this helps!

Hey, recently my hair has been easily breaking about 1cm at a time at the ends. I straighten my hair every day and use a heat defense but my hair is still damaged. I would get the damaged hair cut off but I don’t want to lose the length/trying to grow my hair. So how much should I get cut off at my next appointment? Also when trying to grow my hair how often should I get a trim? OOh and do you recommend a certain heat defense product? Thanks :)

Hi there, im looking to get my hair done over the next few weeks. My hair is what can only be described at the moment as a messy bob which comes just past my chin. Im looking for a cut, semi hair colour and 4 or 5 slices of red/violet. How much would this cost?

    13. Jul, 2010

    Hello Daisy,

I would recommend you had what you need to come off, have off. Just because it won’t grow healthy, it will carry on spliting. I would recommend you to have your hair trimmed every 6 weeks, just to take off the dead ends before they spilt.

The best heat defense is the Redken Iron Silk. It is purely heat defense and has no hold, but smells amazing!

    Hope that helps.

HI there, Im looking for a change. I have longish hair and would like it to be cut so its longer at front then back and coloured platium blonde. I have a picture. Do you have any idea on what this would cost?

  17. Sam Barry

    21. Jul, 2010

    Hello Jules,
Depending on what colour your hair colour is now it will be between £35 – £60. Its quite difficult to give you an accurate price with out seeing you hair.

As for the cut it will start from £28 and go up to £45, depending on what stylist you have.

Don’t forget the 15% off between Monday – Wednesday.

    Hope this helps.

Hello, I usually have full head foils but i want to be really blonde for my wedding. I notice that you have a bleach and toner option. Is this what you would recommend i go for? does it mean the bleach is “painted on” I’m hoping to make an apointment within the next 7 days :)

  19. Sam Barry

    11. Aug, 2010

    Hello Sam,
Yes, the bleach and toner option does mean painted on the scalp.
I would recommend this if you are blonde already. However, if you are dark i would recommend you have highlights and go gradually lighter. This is to save your hairs condition more than anything.

    Hope i helped.
